Hey Derek, I have seen some of those Blue Mounds trails. Very technical on the day I was there. Tough on an old man. If I lived where you do, I'd be on the roads all the time - biker's paradise from what I've seen.

Blue Mounds State park in WI has some nice trails, I live 5 miles away hardly get there because the road riding is some of the best in the country. I like the trails by Cable/ Hayward WI, not a lot of single track more like ski trails.

Looking forward to the discussion here. Living in the upper Midwest creates a struggle between time to ride on the road and time to ride on the trail. I love my mountain bike and the time I get to spend riding in the woods. The setting and the effort are both extraordinary here in Michigan and in Indiana and Wisconsin. Looking forward to comments on favorite trails. I have two, the Pottawatomie in Pinkney Michigan and Brown County State Park near Nashville Indiana - wicked good as they say back east.
