Larry, dont be too concerned about the lack of training miles, after day two it always feels the same. Last year I did not get the training I needed. I kept telling myself...ITS NOT A RACE! Have a great ride!

Amen Robert! I'm way behind last year in miles. Job change...moving.... It's a shame that life gets in the way of biking! And thanks for the heads up John. I My buddy and I hooked with the Superior Hawgs.

OK Its July 1st. Time to get ready! All the riding to get in shape is on schedule, but today I pulled out all the gear and started to go over the list of equipment. This RAGBRAI will my first time with a charter. 2009 will be best ever!

Larry, you can try Team Brewhaha. They have some members pretty close to you here in the northern suburbs. I go with Team Goldbond, but they are out of central Iowa. If you get in contact with them, tell them about the Veloist site.
