I'm glad to be home after 270 miles of very hilly terrain over three days. Not to mention a pretty heavy rainstorm on day 1. Due to a mis-communication with my buddy, I ended up with a roommate I didn't know. Coincidentally, I roomed with your nephew Don Blais for two nights. He told me numerous stories about Jon and his "never give up" attitude. Thanks to Don, by the time the weekend was over I felt like I knew Jon in some way. He was a true warrior for ALS awareness. You must be a very proud father. ps I did think of Blazeman, Claire and David Virden Sr. as I climbed the John St. hill on day three "L´Alpe De Blais"
