About Me:
In June, 2006 my son was born. It was one of the best days of my life. Four months later my Dad - David A. Virden Sr. - was diagnosed with ALS . It was the worst day of my life.

In July, 2007 our team rode the Tri-State Trek - a 270 mile ride from Boston to NY that raises money for ALSTDI (www.als.net). ALSTDI is fervently working to find a cure for ALS. Team Virden will be riding again in 2008.

David, welcome to The Veloist. Please let me know if you have any questions about the site. You should consider starting a Group.
