I remember a couple of guys that were on that Raleigh team that were real strong. Was one of them you? I remember the Montrose team. They were a real good team as well. Had a couple of Dutch or Belgium riders. I just spectated at the track races in Encino and the Olympic track a few time but never did any track riding. What make of bikes did you ride, other that Raleigh and Schwinn. I had a Colonago Mexico with Campy Record. Wish I still had it. That old Campy stuff is worth its weight in gold!

Where were you based back when you raced? What teams did you ride for? I use to race back in the 80's around SoCal. I was wondering if we may have been in some of the same races. I was never a pro though. Just not good enough.

I met a rider named Tony at the Velodrome, said he's been there since the 60's racing. Now he does the motorpacing. Judging by his Greg Lemond style helmet and glasses I believed him.
