- I try to be a well rounded cyclist. I ride MTB, Road, & BMX. I have a Specialized Demo 9 DH MTB, Specialized Enduro SX fourcrossMTB, Specialized Hemi BMX 20", GT Pro Series BMX 24", Kona Muni-Mula MTB converted to a singlespeed, Cove Stiffee SL MTB 4X Dirt Jumper, Specialized Allez Road Bike, & lastly my Specialized Stumpjumper Pro MTB. I race MTB downhil & some BMX. I would like to race some road but can't seem to find the time since MTB & BMX get first dibs.
I also work on a website (www.tribe503.com) about the Oregon bike scene. Most of the content revolves around northern Oregon (Portland & the Columbia Gorge Hood River area).

Broken in Portland, Oregon
I was riding home from work @ Macadam Zupan's to West Linn on Thursday. It was still light out but was getting close to dusk. So I pulled over to put on my helmet light. I just wanted to make sure that someone could see me a little bit better. About five miles from home at the intersection of McVey and highway 43 I was struck by a car.
